Dubai International Airport has hundreds of daily flights to cities all over the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. The airport has two main terminals, which cater for both domestic and international arrivals and departures.
Dubai's airport is spread out, comfortable and modern, and it has all the facilities and amenities passengers would expect from a world-class airport. The terminal has business and conference centres, Internet access, postal services, currency exchange bureaux, extensive disabled facilities and a host of shops and eateries.

Dubai International Airport is a very modern and well-designed airport. The two main terminals are connected by an airport shuttle. A 24-hour Airport Welcome Bureau desk is located in Terminal 1 Arrivals and screens throughout the airport show flight information in various languages. On the departures level of the concourse, you will find two more information booths, one situated opposite the Food Court and the other opposite Gate 19. Some useful airport numbers include:

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Dubai International Airport is known for its fantastic duty-free shopping. Taking up almost a whole concourse in Terminal 1, the duty-free facility has a vast array of stores. It offers a wide range of top quality merchandise such as jewellery, electronics, cosmetics, liquor, luxury goods, sports equipment, designer wear, childrens' wear, toys, books and more.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Dubai International Airport has a wide variety of food vendors, most of which are located on the departures level of Terminal 1. In the Food Court, located on the departures level between gates 13 and 15, travellers can find McDonalds fast-food, the Round Table Pizza and the Jashan restaurant, which serves tasty Indian cuisine. Lounges and bars are scattered around the terminals, making it easy to find a place for a drink.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Dubai International Airport has banking services and ATMs available in both terminals, with a number of automated bureaux de change facilities. There is also a post office located near Gate 18. There are currency exchange facilities located near gates 8, 18 and 22. Global Link Internet services are provided at Gate 16. Internet services are also provided at the business centre and in the form of touch screen kiosks, which can be operated by credit card. Internet kiosks are situated opposite the DCA First Class Lounge at Gate 9 and at the Irish Village near Gate 23.
Business and Conference Facilities
On the third level of Terminal 1, inside the airport hotel, is the Connect Business Centre, which offers five meeting rooms that can accommodate between six and 18 people each; one conference room for 60 persons; state-of-the-art communication systems; eight work stations; and full secretarial and office services. Call: +971 4 2164278 to reserve a room at the centre. There are also several business lounges scattered around the airport. For further business facilities, travellers can head to one of the airport hotels in the area.
Disabled Facilities
Dubai International Airport has some extensive disabled passenger facilities, spread throughout the airport and the parking lots. Desks dedicated to passengers with special needs are available between rows A and B in the Departures Hall. Electric carts are provided to transport passengers to the new concourse, where disabled passengers may access special lounges.
