There are several convenient transfer options between Dubai International Airport and downtown Dubai. Any number of buses, limos and taxis are available to ensure that you reach your destination with a minimum of fuss.

The airport is situated just off Airport road, which runs south-east from the city centre on the east side of Dubai Creek.

Trains

There are currently no train services available from the airport or within Dubai city centre.

Buses

Bus stations are located opposite both terminals. Bus numbers 4, 11, 15, 33 and 44 connect with Terminal 1, while bus number 2 connects with Terminal 2. Dubai International Airport also has its own special buses that provide services to the most popular corridors in the city centre.

Shuttle Buses

The only shuttle bus available at the airport is the airport shuttle, which connects the two terminals.

Hotel Shuttles

Most major accommodation providers in the surrounding area can arrange courtesy customer pick ups and drop offs at the airport. For maximum convenience, it's best if you arrange these services with your hotel prior to your arrival.

Limousines

Limousines can be booked in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 1. Visitors can also book limousines and other specialised services with the airport's car rental agencies, also situated in the Arrivals area of Terminal 1.

Taxi Cabs

Pre-paid taxis run to the city centre 24 hours. You will find taxi stands located outside the Arrivals concourses of both terminals.
